About you:

I am an independent specialist in social research and evaluation with over 10 years of experience of evaluating public and third sector projects. I run my own consultancy providing bespoke evaluation services, particularly for social inclusion and criminal justice projects. I have a proven track record of conducting applied evaluation and translating this into practical solutions within a best value-for-money budget. My clients include government departments, such as the Ministry of Justice, statutory organisations, as well as local-level community projects. My aim is to help organisations develop their practice through the use of scientifically robust evaluation that has real-world application.

What are you working on at the moment?

I’ve recently conducted a few evaluations which used a Realistic Evaluation framework to look at processes and outcomes of social projects. These evaluations used both quantitative methods and qualitative approaches from within psychology.

Is there anything you would like to share, discuss, or work with other SIAA members on?

I’m really interested in contributing towards the development of social impact (SI) tools and methods so that SI can gain a robust and credible foundation.
